Day 2: Hanoi – Thai Nguyen – Ba Be
Morning transfer by bus out of Hanoi to avoid traffic, meet the motorbikes past Thai Nguyen. Lunch en route. Ride through country roads and villages to Ba Be National Park, home to Vietnam’s largest natural lake. Overnight in a Tay ethnic stilt-house homestay in Pac Ngoi village. Morning free to relax or explore Sapa. After lunch, ride down winding mountain roads past terraced rice fields to Lai Chau. Overnight in Lai Chau. Distance: 120 km
